A few years ago we would have had to travel to
Arizona, at considerable client expenditure, to shoot this picture.
These days, with the increasing availability of cost effective library
material and of course, sophisticated computer platforms, the whole
job can be done much more cheaply and without leaving the studio.
I used two medium res. library shots to create an "original"
background, combining the cracks from a small part of one image
with the desert and mountains from another (No small task in itself).
The only other hard part was the Rolls-Royce logo reflection in
the large "water droplet" on the leaf. The distortion
and wrapping abilities of the Imaginator helped a lot here. Click
