A nice fun little shot. The pearl, only about 1.5 cm in diameter, was model made by Steve Coleman of Parallax. We riged the shell and the pearl with a bit of aramature wire. It turned out that the best way of getting good oyster shells was to go to Selfridges and eat a dozen.
