| This is one of my favorites in the Parts Express
series. To make this shot as realistic as possible I wanted to keep
everything in the same scale and perspective. I also wanted to lift
it out of the background and give it a kind of "ultra-high-tech"
look. To accomplish this we laid the whole thing out, more or less in place, on a large lightbox arrangement and shot it on 10x8 Ektachrome (those were the days). The sky was shot just over the road near Paddington Station on 5x4 Ektachrome. As usual, the whole thing was stitched together on our computers (thanks Martin for the well worked out brief). The full resolution version is of outstanding quality. |
